A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and received a number of questions about them since then. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also broken them in well that I understand how they really perform, and a bunch of related details about them, which you’ll find explored in this post.

Where did you buy them?
I found mine on discount via Cettire and snagged them that way!
Placed my order on April 28th luxury sneakers for men and they were at my door by the 30th, so the shipping was lightning fast .
How expensive are they?
When I bought my pair in spring, I paid $385.43, but their full price is over $500.
You can expect to pay between $410 and seventeen hundred depending on their uniqueness.
How is the fit?
I’d say they fit just right, based on my pair.
Since they don’t stretch and they don’t come in half sizes, I’d choose the larger option.
How comfy are they?
Honestly, they feel great, and only took a few hours to break in..
How do they perform over time?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about getting them dirty. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I can’t even tell if there’s new wear and tear.
How are they vs. other brands?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I wear Vejas and Tretons too, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They include a built-in arch bump that adds a little height — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re crafted individually, so each pair is unique. And the sparkle on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re not cheap, so getting them discounted is worth it. Still, I think they’re worth a few hundred bucks, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. Mine have pink glitter, but a low-key version would also go with everything.

I’d say they fit true to size, based on my pair. Since they don’t stretch and half sizes aren’t available, I’d recommend sizing up.
How comfy are they?
They only needed minimal break-in time.
Do they hold up well?
They look worn from the start, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over the city, and they still look great. No glitter has fallen off, and the shape stayed solid.
Thanks to the vintage look, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
